Our Story

Prehab 2 Rehab is a charity that is proud to transform how people prepare for, cope with, and recover from life-changing health conditions.

Our work is built on a simple belief – people deserve personalised, compassionate support that empowers them at every stage of their health journey.

Our team is composed of highly skilled health coaches and specialist volunteers who share a commitment to supporting people preparing for cancer treatment through safe, evidence‑based prehabilitation.

All coaches working directly with individuals diagnosed with cancer are fully trained in cancer rehabilitation, ensuring they have the knowledge, skills, and clinical understanding needed to provide appropriate and effective support throughout the prehab journey.

In addition to our Level 3‑and‑above qualified cancer and rehabilitation coaches, we are supported by a valued group of volunteers, including a retired consultant and an experienced nutritionist, who contribute specialist insight and help us deliver truly holistic care.

Together, we provide a compassionate, expert‑led service designed to help each person build strength, resilience, and confidence ahead of treatment.

If you’re passionate about supporting people preparing for cancer treatment and want to make a meaningful difference, we’d love to hear from you. Become part of a dedicated team delivering safe, specialist cancer prehabilitation.

Meet our founders

Together, Liana and Ludo share a unified vision: a Scotland where proactive, personalised health support is available to everyone – not just those who can afford it.

The board is strengthened by trustees with extensive professional backgrounds, including a clinician, a patient advocate, a retired chief executive from the charity sector, and a commercial director.

Liana

Our co‑founder Liana is driven by a deep commitment to creating people‑centred services shaped by empathy, evidence, and lived experience.

Alongside her background as a charity co‑chair and former commercial CEO, she brings extensive expertise in strategic design, marketing, communications, and partnership development.

Her personal family experience with cancer strengthens her dedication to ensuring that Prehab2Rehab Scotland is not only clinically effective, but also warm, welcoming, and genuinely accessible to everyone.

Liana shapes the development of the charity’s public identity, digital presence, and service experience, ensuring that every individual who engages with us feels seen, supported, and respected at every stage of their journey.

Ludo

Ludo is a health coach and cancer prehabilitation specialist with wide‑ranging experience supporting people across Paisley, Greater Glasgow, and the Beatson Clinic.

His work combines evidence‑based practice with compassionate, human‑focused care.

He leads the clinical and health‑behaviour aspects of the charity, ensuring that every programme empowers people to take control of their health, prepare for treatment, and recover with confidence.
